Banks sees a Silver and Gold Lining to Disaster Advertising campaign

Norcross, GA— November, 2005

Competing against over 2,000 entries from around the globe, The Banks Agency won a Gold and two Silver Davey Awards for their Nationwide Insurance Disaster Advertising campaign.

With devastating storms pounding the U.S., the need to communicate important information to Nationwide Insurance policy holders has been more important than ever.

Cameron Spivey, Creative Director of TBA, said that their goal was to relay vital, time-sensitive information as well as assure customers that help was on the way.

"Many people lost everything and were left to navigate the claims process without food, water or other basic services. We tried to offer them more than a phone number to call. We wanted to send them a message of hope and reassurance."

Storms don't wait around for creative inspiration either. Spivey said that there was little time for revisions so concepts had to be right the first time.

Without a doubt, TBA rose to the occasion and produced award-winning work that help thousands begin the process of rebuilding their tattered lives.

The Davey Awards is an international creative award focused exclusively on honoring outstanding creative work from the best small firms worldwide.
